What if getting stronger didn't mean burning out?
Meet our founder
From Burnout to Resilience
As a mother, entrepreneur, athlete, and trauma survivor, Meliza spent years living in burnout. Pushing harder wasn’t a choice—it was the only way she knew how. She experienced firsthand what happens when the body is treated like a machine, driven past its limits.
Through her trauma-healing journey, Meliza became deeply nervous system–literate—and in that process, she saw what the wellness industry was missing: care that puts nervous system health at the center.
After founding WORTHY Self-Care Studio, that gap became impossible to ignore. Clients were arriving depleted and overwhelmed, wanting to move, feel strong, and care for themselves—but every fitness option asked more of systems already running on empty.
So she built what didn’t exist.
WORTHY Breath & Body was born.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Right Dose. Not More. Not Less.
We’ve been taught that progress requires punishment. That results come from pushing past your limits, ignoring your body’s signals, and grinding through exhaustion.
We believe the opposite.
Your nervous system is the foundation of everything—your energy, your mood, your resilience, your strength. When it’s dysregulated, no amount of effort will get you where you want to go. When it’s supported, everything shifts.
That’s why every class at WORTHY is built around one principle: deliver the right dose. Enough challenge to build resilience. Never enough to overwhelm. This is the WORTHY Method—movement that strengthens without depleting, guided by infrared heat and anchored in breath.
WORTHY isn't about doing more. It's about doing what actually works—for your body, your nervous system, your life.
OUR VISION
Redefining What Strong Means
We’re here to prove that strength and restoration aren’t opposites. That you can build resilience without burnout. That taking care of yourself isn’t a reward for finishing everything else—it’s the foundation that makes everything else possible.
This is fitness that heals. A sanctuary that strengthens. A place where you’re not just welcome—you’re WORTHY.
